Forêt Vivante Festival
: “The Mystery of Trees”

The festival took place amid great enthusiasm, joy, and excitement.

The performances captivated both the general public and schoolchildren: *
*’s*“The Man Who Planted Trees”*, based on the story by Jean Giono, and*“L’arbre Monde”*, directed by Sylviane Simonet, deeply moved the audience.

The high-altitude tree-top adventure offered by IdéeHautcreated an unforgettable experience for many people.

The high-level lectures given by the scientists captivated the audience. A beautiful tribute to Francis Hallé was paid on this occasion.

The GAÏA theater company’s immersive, traveling forest theater performance introduced audiences to several memorable trees on the estate.

The " Forests-Worlds " exhibition was extremely well-received: the many exhibits captivated visitors.

Philosophy workshops, science walks in the forest, and opportunities to relax were all experiences shared by a wide range of participants.

The preliminary results have been a source of great satisfaction for everyone in attendance, encouraging us to continue pursuing the festival’s biennial goal.

It ended late Sunday afternoon, June 7. However, the“Forêt-Mondes”exhibition, on the first floor of the large “stables” building, will remain on view through July 18, 2026.

The crowdfunding campaign we launched before the festival will continue until the exhibition closes. The purpose of this campaign is to support not only this first event but also future editions (a biennial festival) with a stronger educational focus. This initial trial has convinced us to continue this initiative. We will now begin working with the Ligue de l’Enseignement to further integrate the school community at an early stage, with the support of several artists.

The crowdfunding support we have established will help us better achieve these educational goals, which are at the heart of the Artborescences initiative.

Thank you so much for your support!

We’re continuing this journey with you and thanks to you.
