Jane Goodall
Jane Goodall, ethologist and anthropologist has devoted her entire life to the study of living beings, and in particular the relationship between between and animals.
She began her scientific work in earnest at Tanzania studying primates. After 2 years of patience and optimism, she was finally accepted by a community of chimpanzees. a community of chimpanzees. Her persistent studies led to a radical transformation in the way we look at and relate to animals. Contrary to all the beliefs of the time, she demonstrated that chimpanzees use tools, have a language and a social life.
The Jane Goodall Institute was created internationally in 1977 and in France in 2004.
She is now, at the age of 90, one of the 100 most influential people on Earth.
